He's Crazy

My brother has been working on his latest film project and guess who gets to follow him around taking pictures... (raising my hand). I can't say a lot, for at this point it's not released to the public, but I'll keep you posted.

Beautiful, Wonderful Christmas

Yankees can keep their White Christmases for this year -- we had our very own! These are what Mom and I did when it snowed! This is the first snow we've seen on Christmas day in 100 years. It was truly magical.

Poor Nate didn't get to go out. He was sick on Christmas day... oh, poo!

All Up in My Head

I have a lot of ideas -- it can be a good thing. My problem, though, is I speak before I think sometimes -- it can be a bad thing. This is one of the curses of a creative person :/

P.S. Friend

I'll get the hang of sizing my pics sooner or later. Until then, please bear with me :)

Dreaming of Sugar Plum Fairies

I'm a dancer. I'm not dancing right now, but you can never take the dancer out of me. I performed three times in the Nutcracker when I was in shape. It's one of my favorite ballets! Christmas just isn't Christmas if I don't hear Tchaikovsky's masterpiece with sugar plums dancing in my head.

Merry Christmas!

Clean Before Create

It's about the time we start thinking about putting up the tree. (I know what you're thinking... but we don't celebrate Christmas in October.) So now I'm cleaning the house! Mom never lets the tree in the house unless it has a perfectly clean environment to come into. This is a lesson I am still learning. I would always rather create than clean, and I'm not so bothered by the house not being perfect. Don't get me wrong -- I'm not a pig, but the one thing Mom and I draw swords at is the definition of clean...

Anyways, I'd better get back to it! So our little tree can come :)

Wish list...

Maybe I'm just really Southern (and I am), but I'm in love with magnolia wreaths this season. I went by Whole Foods and well... they're a little out of my budget, so I guess I'll have to take advantage of a tree and grab some leaves to create my own. Until then, I'll just put it on my wish list.

Beautiful to Me

Jesus, bright as the morning star
Jesus, how can I tell you how beautiful you are to me
Jesus, song that the angel sings
Jesus, dearer to my heart than anything

Sweeter than spring time
Purer than sunshine
Ever my song will be
Jesus, you're beautiful to me

Oh Lord you are so beautiful
So beautiful, so beautiful, so beautiful
Jesus you're beautiful to me

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Jesus you're beautiful to me
Wonderful, heavenly, beautiful
Jesus you're beautiful to me

Morning star, Lord you are, beautiful
Jesus you're beautiful to me

Sweeter than spring time
Purer than sunshine
Ever my song will be
Jesus, you're beautiful

A very long day =

Today was long, but I think we (Mom, Nate, and I) got a lot accomplished... maybe. Sometimes you become so tired you don't really know what you did, and in the end, you don't really care. That is until you wake up the next morning and realize you don't have to think about what you have already done. Anyways, at the end of today, I couldn't even think about what I wanted to eat... (usually Mom and I make dinner, but you know how it goes when it's been a long day.) So after not even wanting to heat a can of chili, I ended up with yogurt and granola.

Believe me when I say it was not so glamorous as the picture above... it would have been easier to just heat up the chili if I had made it look like that! Haha!

I hope you are having long, productive days along with the peaceful, lazy ones too :)

Sleep sweet!
