Sorry I have not been blogging! Life has been too crazy to keep up with. I'm thankful for these few lazy summer days. I have only a few classes to teach!

A big thank you to those who have kept Alabama in your prayers! We were so blessed! We were within less than half a mile from the EF5. God is good! Please keep our dear friends, the Lees, in your prayers. Mr. Lee passed away in the storm while praying over his family as the house came down around them. To find how you can help, visit here.

I'm sure you know today is Easter and that Easter is a Christian holiday, but what you may not know is that as Christ lives, His heart longs for you! Long for Him and love Him for He will hold your heart and never let it break! You will never be good enough for perfect love, but He is good enough for you! Email me if you would like to know more! A Belated Valentine Wish

At Christmas I wish for snow.
On Easter I wish for a new dress to wear on that extra special Sunday.
For Valentine's Day I wish for everyone to find Love... (Yes, you may laugh. I'm a hopeful romantic ;)

This Love that I wish, hope, and pray for I have already found, or rather this Love found me. This Love can't be found in people or even in yourself. You must be in this Love before you can love. And the lovely thing about it is this Love loved you first even while you were unlovable. This Love waits, prays, and seeks you!

To answer to your Lover's voice, all you have to say is I do!

You should meet...

...Blacky! The imperial queen of all marvelous mutts! We've had her since her birth and she'll be eight years old on Groundhog Day. I'm pretty sure she would be on the top ten list of the smartest dog list. One day she literally insisted on having the air turned on...(long story)

Likes are soft beds, blankets, and ham.
Dislikes are rainy days, plain dog food, and the worst is taking a bath!!!!

She is a perfect diva and I wouldn't have it any other way :)


P.S. So our prayers worked! Little Blacky is doing great. We thought the worst yesterday, but today she's been running around! God is good, even to our little hairy beasts ;)

A Thought

Instead of new year resolutions, I choose a theme verse from scripture. This year I feel these are a few goals I should keep in mind.

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality." ~ ROMANS 12:12,13

3) Candle Light at my grandmother's church
4) Good Times
5) Our little red door!
6) Me (I'm liking the red lips these days.)
7) Our little tree (I may or may not have spent over 7 hours on those ornaments this year...)
8) Mistletoe in our trees
